Its software is already used by operators such as Strong Pilates, BFT, F45 Training, and numerous independent gyms, contributing to a 322% increase in the number of gyms on the platform over the last six months. Founders Nick Hunter and Josh Oliver draw on direct industry experience—Hunter runs the REVEL Unley gym and Oliver was formerly CTO at F45—to build a product tailored to studio and franchise needs. By surfacing subtle behavioral signals before members disengage, Recovr aims to move retention efforts from reactive to proactive. The company plans to enter the U.S. market by 2026, targeting boutique studios, big-box gyms, and franchise networks. Management projects the platform will triple its annual recurring revenue within the next year as demand for AI-driven retention tools grows.
