The company has onboarded more than 700 carriers into a virtual fleet of around 15,000 trucks nationwide and cites that roughly 30% of Australian trucks run with empty loads. Ofload launched shortly before the 2020 coronavirus pandemic and completed its seed round six months after launch. The startup raised funds to support its Australian operations and to build out its tech team as it targets wastage and inefficiency in road freight. Management positions the product as a way to improve sustainability and lower overheads for transport companies of all sizes.
