Mission

Optimaze builds a cloud economics platform that uses artificial intelligence to quantify cloud inefficiencies in real time, automatically recommend and execute optimizations, and cut both financial outlay and environmental impact from excess cloud usage. Currently in private beta, the product targets enterprises struggling with the estimated 30 % of cloud spend that is typically wasted. The solution delivers continuous visibility into resource utilisation and cost drivers, aiming to translate insights into measurable savings. Founded by Ralf Capel and Dawshiek Yogathasar and headquartered in Sydney, the company plans to channel newly raised capital into expanding its engineering team and accelerating its product roadmap. Management also intends to forge strategic partnerships with major cloud providers, starting with AWS, to deepen platform integrations. Although still pre-revenue, Optimaze positions itself as an “AI-native” offering in the broader sustainability and cost-management market, emphasising both bottom-line savings and reduced carbon footprint.
