Its policies are underwritten by Pacific International Insurance and provide up to $30,000 in cover annually with no sub-limits, plus extras such as physiotherapy and dental. The company’s technology integrates with vets to enable direct payment to veterinary providers. Fetch was founded and is led by former IAG executives Phil Wilson-Brown (CEO), George Lewis (Head of Product) and Foo Xin (CTO). The founders say low insurance penetration—only 1 in 10 pets insured—and rising pet costs leave nearly half of vet treatments affected by financial constraints. Fetch aims to simplify pet health care and increase uptake through subscription pricing, vet integration, and an app-driven experience.
