Role Overview
Founding Engineer - Web Role: Founding Engineer (10 hrs/week) About Us We're a VC-backed startup building the future of start-up hiring. Early stage, moving fast, looking for someone who actually wants to ship. What You'll Do - Build core product features from zero to users - Own the full stack or pick your lane (frontend, backend, full-stack) - Make architectural decisions that stick around - Ship code in week one, iterate based on real feedback - Help set the pace and standards for how we build What We're Looking For - Solid React fundamentals (or equivalent frontend framework) - Comfortable with modern web development (TypeScript, APIs, databases) - Can pick up new tech without hand-holding - Ship over perfection mindset - 10 hours/week available, flexibility to scale up if momentum hits Tech Stack React, Node.js/Python (TBD based on your preference), PostgreSQL or similar How to Apply holly@trymatchbox.com
